All garage door keypad coding sequences are different.
If you can find the make and model of both the keyless entry pad itself, and the garage door opener, we can probably help you over the telephone.
A keypad should not lose its code when the battery goes dead, or it’s replaced.
It is possible that a garage door keypad can go gone bad. If that is the case, most of the time only the keypad needs to be replaced, not the entire opener.
